Jr. Naturalist Class on Pollinators Coming April 23

Saturday, April 23, 2016 from 10am to Noon- ALL ABOUT NATIVE POLLINATORS!

Native pollinators are bees that do not sting and help us have more flowers, fruits and vegetables. Jr. Naturalists and their parents will:

  • Learn what native pollinators do.
  • Learn what each of us can do to have more native pollinators.
  • Build a nest for native pollinators.
  • Take the nest home and help us all have more native pollinators.

Junior Naturalist events are hosted by Camp Discovery in Blythewood, and taught by members of the Midlands Master Naturalist Association. Topics and activities vary depending on the season. Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Each event is $10.00 per child, $20.00 family maximum (more than 2 children from same family are free).  Fees will be due at the time of the hike (cash or check made out to SCWF).

SPACE IS LIMITED - PLEASE PRE-REGISTER by sending an email to Sara Green at South Carolina Wildlife Federation. QUESTIONS?  Please contact Sara Green  through email, or by calling (803) 609-4778.
