Ages: 6 - 12 years old

During this week of camp, campers will participate in outdoor field investigations where they will learn to be excellent stewards of the natural environment.  Throughout this week, campers will come to know that the Earth is so much more than what is under their feet.  STEM challenges, games, and fun with friends will make this a great kick off for the summer.

Ages: 6 - 12 years old

Be prepared for a week filled with nature-based challenges throughout the many ecosystems Camp Discovery has to offer. From the creek to the Art Barn... from the Discovery Room to the forest, much fun will combine with many lasting memories!

Pre-K/K & Pre-Teen/Teen Mini Camp

July 7 - July 9

Ages: Pre-K/K 4-6 years old; Pre-Teen/Teen 11-14 years old

This mini camp introduces groups of both young and teen campers to up close observations and interactions with nature.  Daily habitat hunts, crafts, stories, cooperative games and play will engage our young and teen explorers.  Campers will use scientific tools as well and will enjoy a culminating activity/picnic with their camper friends.

NASA Returns to Camp

July 13 - July 17

Ages: 6 - 12 years old

NASA Returns to Camp is an exciting, NASA inspired week designed for kids who are interested by all things science and nature. Campers will take part in the Tree Challenge 2020: Make Every Tree Count using the GLOBE Observer, sponsored by NASA. Campers will learn about their carbon footprint as they investigate trees, birds and bees.

Eco Explorers

July 27 - July 31
Ages 6-12 years old

Grab your binoculars and gear up for an unforgettable outdoor adventure!  We will discover all areas of Camp Discovery, including the meadows, the forest, and even the creek. Campers will participate in activities from Project Wet, Project Wild and Project Learning Tree.

Earth Keepers Summer Program at Camp Discovery is the ideal way for campers to unleash their natural curiosity.  Each day campers will connect with nature using exploration and investigation.  Interpretive hikes, animal encounters, team building challenges and nature-themed crafts help reveal the wonders of the natural world. Register early. Enrollment is limited!

Registration and Camp Fees 

  • Registration fee is $220.  First 15 to register will receive an embroidered Camp Discovery backpack. 

  • Registration fees include all activities, snacks and a camp shirt. Campers must bring lunch and water bottle each day.

  • Camp hours are 9:00 am - 3:00 pm Monday - Thursday.  Camp hours on Fridays are 9:00 am - 12:30 pm.  Extended stay is available for an additional cost.

  • Camp will end on Friday at noon with a "bring your own" family picnic lunch and end of camp celebration.  For parents who cannot attend at noon, late pick up will be available until 1:30.                               


Sibling Discounts
Registration for 2 or more siblings (i.e. brother, sister) will receive a $10 discount for each additional camper registered. When registering siblings, please use the following promotional codes at check out:

Extended Stay

Early Bird Drop Off is available from 8:00 – 9:00 a.m. for an additional $25 per week per camper. Late Pick Up is available from 3:00 - 4:00 pm for an additional $25 per week per camper.  Please register for these options ahead of time so that we can make sure we have the proper number of counselors on site each morning and afternoon.


Cancellations must be submitted in writing no later than two weeks prior to camp date to receive a refund minus a $50 nonrefundable deposit. No refunds will be given for cancellations within 2 weeks of the camp date.

Financial Aid

Camp Discovery is committed to being accessible to all. Scholarships are available to help families with limited financial resources who are unable to afford the full cost of a week of camp. If you are applying for assistance, please limit your registration to one week of camp per child. Scholarships are usually partial and based on documentation of financial need.
