2022 Summer Camps
Earth Keepers Full Week Camps (6-12 years of age)
Each week, campers will participate in outdoor field investigations where they will learn to be excellent stewards of the natural environment. Campers will come to know that the Earth is so much more than what is under their feet. STEM challenges, games, elements in the Challenge Quest Low Ropes Course, art, literature, and fun with friends will make this a rich part of summer break. We will explore all areas of Camp Discovery, including the meadows, the forest, the pollinator garden, and even the creek during this week of outdoor adventure. Activities and challenges will vary by week, but each will include NASA GLOBE (The Global Learning and Observations to Benefit the Environment Program) Citizen Science opportunities. Grab your binoculars and gear up for a week of unforgettable outdoor adventures!

***The health and safety of our campers, staff, and volunteers are of utmost importance to Camp Discovery. In light of the recent COVID-19 pandemic, we are constantly assessing the status of our community's public health and making decisions related to our camp programs based on the most up-to-date and scientific information from the Centers for Disease Control and DHEC. To ensure the health, safety, and well-being of all our campers, staff, and volunteers, we are transitioning to modified camp protocols to be aligned with best health and ACA practices. There will be no early drop-off or late stays this summer. All campers will bring their own snacks and lunches. Additionally, each camper will receive their own supply bags. Extensive sanitization practices will be maintained.
