WHY SHOULD I BE A SPONSOR?
Sponsorship is a wonderful way for you or your organization to partner with Camp Discovery so that every child can learn and grow through nature.
Connecting youth to nature is vital in an age when children spend more time on computers than exploring the outdoors. Consequently, students are unable to make connections between concepts learned in school to actual experiences in nature.
For some students, getting outdoors is difficult, particularly those from underserved communities. Through a tax-deductible gift, sponsors make it possible to bring students from behind their desks and into a natural setting for real-world learning experiences. Students benefit from hands-on exploration to promote academic achievement, acquire a deeper understanding of the environment, and cultivate the skills and motivation to become future leaders in addressing community issues.

EARTH KEEPERS CAMP
Send a deserving child to a week of Earth Keepers Summer Camp and create lasting memories and learning experiences.
SCHOOL FIELD STUDY
Send a class to Camp Discovery for an exciting day of hands-on exploration in nature to reinforce classroom learning.
OUTDOOR LEARNING LAB
The Outdoor Learning Lab at Camp Discovery enhances student lessons in every area from science to math to music and art. Your sponsorship will go towards the construction of a safe, outdoor lab in one of the Camp’s natural spaces. The lab will be named for your organization and designated by a sign proudly displayed outside the lab.
