STEM & TEAM BUILDING

Project-based learning strengthens bonds between group members, builds social skills and allows students to address real-world issues. Lessons are interdisciplinary and combine nature-based field study and school visits to incorporate school curriculum into an authentic community service project that makes learning meaningful.

Low Ropes Challenge Quest

Enjoy a nature escape at Camp Discovery’s 116 acre scenic property. Our “Challenge Quest" ropes course consists of 7 various elements and fosters strengthened communication, problem-solving skills, and relationships. Bring your group out for some team building or a day of pure FUN!

Camp Discovery offers professional development retreats for school faculty and community business groups.  Custom program components include team building challenges, low ropes elements, Yoga, STEM education strategies, and a variety of relaxing activities.  Amy Ellisor, Executive Director, and her leadership team will work with you to tailor an agenda that best meets the needs of your group.
